• Anyone can get HIV regardless of sexual orientation, gender, sex or any other aspect of your identity
• HIV can be asymptomatic
• Many people live with HIV and do not know it
• Get tested after every sexual partner
• There is Pre exposure medicine to prevent you from contracting HIV
• There is post exposure medicine if you have been exposed to HIV (must be taken in the first 72 hours)
• There is medicine that can allow you to live a long, healthy life unable to pass on the virus
